ProMedica is seeking a giving specialist to support ProMedica’s mission by initiating relationships and closing philanthropic gifts with businesses. With an evolving portfolio of businesses and individual prospects, the giving specialist will be responsible for meeting directly with qualified prospects for the purposes of cultivating and soliciting corporate gifts and other partnership opportunities. This position involves high levels of activity outside of the traditional office setting, including attending events and face-to-face meetings with donors.
• The giving specialist will spend 90% of their time meeting with donors and prospects.
• They will hold, on average, 8 meetings per week with donor prospects.
• They will submit at least 48 qualified gift proposals to donor prospects annually.
• They will record all donor/prospect calls, meetings, proposals and other actions in The Raiser’s Edge software in a timely manner.
• They will attend ProMedica and ProMedica Foundation events that include donors and prospects.
• The giving specialist will be supported by a prospect research and administrative team.
ProMedica desires candidates with 2-3 years of experience in face-to-face fundraising, sales or business development.
A bachelor’s degree is required for all positions.
